Take Charge
You’re on your own, a solitary star in the night,
No one’s coming to save you, to set things right.
Learn to think differently, forge your own path,
In the wilderness of life, embrace your inner wrath.
Instead of saying ‘things will work out’ or ‘when things work out,’
Take a breath and think, ‘when I work things out’ and ‘I will work things out.’
Make it about you, for you’ve only got you,
In the mirror’s reflection, see the warrior true.
Life is a storm, relentless and fierce,
It brings troubles, pains, and fears to pierce.
But YOU’ve got this, your spirit a shield,
Against the tempest, you will not yield.
Take heart, then take charge, captain your fate,
In the face of adversity, never hesitate.
For within you lies the power to prevail,
A paradox of strength, where others might fail.
